🇷🇺 The Yakovlev Yak-25 is a twin-engine all-weather interceptor developed by the Soviet Union's Yakovlev Design Bureau in the early 1950s. Designed to defend Soviet airspace against strategic bombers, it featured radar-guided interception capabilities and excellent high-altitude performance for its time. The Yak-25 also served as the basis for several specialized variants, including reconnaissance and electronic intelligence aircraft, making it an important component of Soviet air defense during the early Cold War.
