🇩🇪 First introduced in the late 1930s, the Dornier Do 17 Z-2 is a twin-engine medium bomber developed from the Do 17 family. Powered by two Bramo 323 radial engines, it was known for its slim, pencil-like fuselage and relatively high speed for its time. Widely used by the Luftwaffe in the early years of World War II, it served in bombing and reconnaissance roles, notably during the Battle of Britain, before being gradually replaced by more advanced aircraft.
